The online Master of Human Relations (MHR) combines theoretical perspectives from social sciences, humanities, and work and service. In the Inclusive Leadership concentration, you’ll learn to apply principles of inclusion while working in human resources, leadership, management, and more.

Master's degree
The online Master of Human Relations (MHR) can be completed in as little as 15 months. Our evidence-based curriculum takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining theoretical perspectives from social sciences, humanities, and work and service. Courses are sequential, and students build upon what they learn and apply knowledge to subsequent courses in the program.
This specialization is aimed at professionals who want to learn how to apply principles of inclusion as a lens to view relationships, processes, and interacting systems. You’ll gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in careers related to human resources, leadership, and talent management, general management, and other human skills roles.

Getting Started Today
Admission to the online Master of Human Relations (MHR) program is selective. Those interested in the program should have a competitive undergraduate GPA. Additional admissions factors may include work or service experience, demonstrated leadership potential, exceptional talents or skills, trends, or academic and undergraduate school performance improvement.
To apply for the online MHR program, students must:
- Complete the online application at https://gograd.ou.edu/apply/
- Submit a current resume or CV
- Provide official college transcripts from all institutions
- Submit a personal statement
- International students must demonstrate English proficiency
Applicants may be required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), depending on their work experience and prior education. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed individually.

Tuition and fees for the program are $26,994 ($818 per credit hour). Books and additional materials are not included.
Once accepted into the program, students must submit a $350 nonrefundable deposit within two weeks. Deposits are applied toward tuition expenses and secure a student’s place in the upcoming class. There is no application fee for this degree.
