The OU College of Law’s online LLM in Healthcare Law is a 24-credit program for lawyers practicing healthcare law to further their specialization. It also provides a comprehensive legal foundation for lawyers wanting to transition to a healthcare law practice. Graduating with an LLM degree from OU allows graduates to teach in law schools around the country.

LLM in Healthcare Law students complete a 24-credit-hour curriculum in seven-week modules. There are two modules per semester, and students typically have a short break between modules. The LLM can be completed in as little as 12 months as a full-time student or 15 months working full-time.Students will need to take at least 24 credit hours to earn the degree and can pick from a list of courses to obtain the required credit amount.

The admissions committee operates under a rolling admissions process, and admissions may continue until two weeks before the start of classes. However, some programs may have an earlier application deadline. The committee strives to respond to all applicants within two weeks from the time a completed application is submitted.

Oklahoma residents: $583.50 per credit hour, plus additional fees of $193.80 per credit hour and $2,617.50 per semester; Non-residents: $1,059 per credit hour, plus additional fees of $193.90 per credit hour and $2,617.50 per semester
Once accepted into the program, students must submit a $350 nonrefundable deposit within two weeks. Deposits are applied toward tuition expenses and secure a student’s place in the upcoming class.
