The University of Oklahoma is expanding its online graduate offerings with two new programs designed to meet the needs of future-focused professionals: a Master of Legal Studies in Healthcare Law and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity. These programs are tailored for working adults who want to advance their careers in high-demand fields. Both programs will welcome their first cohort of students in Spring 2026, offering future-focused professionals a fresh opportunity to lead in cybersecurity and legal studies. This launch marks an exciting new chapter for OU Online.

Online MS in Cybersecurity Leadership – Gallogly College of Engineering

Cyber threats are evolving—and so is the demand for strategic leadership. OU’s online Master of Science in Cybersecurity Leadership prepares professionals to manage risk, shape policy, and lead cross-functional teams through high-stakes digital challenges.

This 30-credit-hour program can be completed in as little as 18 months and is delivered 100% online through OU’s Polytechnic Institute and Gallogly College of Engineering. Students gain executive-level skills in governance, compliance, and crisis management, with coursework that includes live biweekly sessions and a hands-on strategic planning practicum.

Graduates are equipped to lead cybersecurity initiatives across industries, from healthcare and finance to government and tech.

Online Master of Legal Studies – OU College of Law

Legal fluency is a powerful asset in today’s complex regulatory landscape. The Master of Legal Studies is offered through the OU College of Law and is designed for professionals who work in law-adjacent roles across industries.

This 32-credit-hour program is delivered 100% online and can be completed in as little as 15 months. Students gain practical legal knowledge in contract law, dispute resolution, compliance, and governance—without needing a JD or LSAT.

Graduates are prepared to lead in roles such as compliance officer, contracts manager, policy advisor, and more. Whether you’re in healthcare, education, business, or government, the MLS helps you make informed decisions and elevate your impact.
