The OU online Population Health Certificate in Public Health is structured to provide students with a deeper understanding of population health strategies and health disparities.
Students become equipped to promote health equity in their professional careers by learning how to improve health outcomes in their communities through the application of the concepts of population health, regardless of their involvement in traditional public health career tracks.
This program offers students the opportunity to begin their curriculum in either fall or spring terms.
Emphasizing health and the healthcare system, students will take courses in epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, environmental health, and the U.S. healthcare system.

Getting Started Today
To apply to the online Population Health Certificate in Public Health, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) and provide the following:
