The online M.S. in Finance program is a 32-credit-hour program designed to prepare students for the complex and nuanced disciplines of corporate finance and equity. Students study topics including financial modeling, advanced corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, venture capital and private equity, alternative investments, equity fund management, international finance, and risk management.

Getting Started Today
Admission to the online M.S. in Finance is selective and requires evidence of strong quantitative abilities. Because the program is designed to provide additional expertise in finance to professionals at all stages of their careers, professional work experience is not required for admission.
Applicants must have completed a B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited institution (the committee will specifically review GPAs in quantitative coursework).
To apply, students must:
- Complete the online application at https://gograd.ou.edu/apply/
- Submit a current resume
- Provide official college transcripts from all institutions
- Submit a personal statement
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Applicants who have graduated within three years should provide letters from faculty members.
- Applicants who have been out of school for more than three years can provide recommendations from a direct supervisor or colleague.
- GRE/GMAT score - Candidates may request a GMAT/GRE waiver if they meet specific criteria. Speak with your enrollment counselor to see if you may be eligible.
- International student applicants – Must receive a TOEFL score of 600 or higher on the paper-based test (250 on the computer, 100 on the internet-based test) sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to Institution Code 6879.

Tuition and fees for the program are $31,520 ($985 per credit hour). Books and additional materials are not included.
Once accepted into the program, students must submit a $350 nonrefundable deposit within two weeks. Deposits are applied toward tuition expenses and secure a student’s place in the upcoming class. There is no application fee for this degree.
